Step 1 : Context

Context is the when and the where of your high-value idea.

Context isn't the actual thing you are creating, but it surrounds and gives shape to the goal you are pursuing.

And because it is coupled so intimately with what you are after, it automatically sets you up to succeed in your pursuit of your creative outcome.

By describing, with tuned accuracy, the time and place where your creative result or outcome lives, context frames and aims you towards your next innovative idea.

Creativity happens when you define the context enough that it helps move you in the direction of solving your problem and reaching your creative goal simply because enough factors about the context fall into place converging on that high-value idea.

But it is more than that.

Creativity is further enhanced when you can manipulate the context so that your creative results expand or contract beyond what you originally thought was the context you were working with.

That's when it becomes leveraged!
